I keep on planning to start full blast on this blog and on my GPT's, but life always gets in the way :-)

I have actually been earning from $3-$5 a month on one article I wrote over a year ago on associated content. This has been motivating me to write again. School starts next week so I hope to schedule in some writing and GPT time while the younger kids nap. I made over $30 on my 3 GPT sites from referrals completing offers. That is always nice to see that money. I just know that if I could place some more links out there I can get that income up.

I have mainly been working on saving money by couponing at Kroger and CVS. CVS is about the most awesome store ever. I will blog soon on how I get massive savings there. I have saved over $800 since January by shopping there. I have a lot of interest from people that want to learn how to get cheap and free name brand items from CVS, so I plan to start a little online course on how to use their ECB program with manufacturer coupons to do this.

WOW! Haven't updated in forever. I had been putting making money online on hold for awhile as I had a fulltime babysitting job and just had a baby 2 months ago. I am going to try and get back into the swing of things ith the rising costs of everything around here, our family needs all the cash we can get!!!

My GPT's have still been earning me $10-$20 here and there even though its been almost 6 months that I have done no work on them or referrals. Thats the beauty of these sites.

I am also going to be working on a new blog called Stay at Home Mom World where I will be blogging about all the millions of things stay at home moms need to do in a given day. I will talk about kids, money, cooking, cleaning...you name it. I will tie this blog into that one shortly. Good Luck to all you GPT'ers!!!

My favorite forum on the internet is www.LLNOE.com This is a forum for people following the Dave Ramsey plan to get out of debt. This forum has some awesome people on it and they can help with your budget and saving money. They are a great help and support and I suggest everyone check it out.
I have been working hard on my own budget. I have gone to cash envelopes and I am trying to pay cash for everything. This really helps stop your budget leaks and spending sprees!!!!Coupled with this I thought I would delve into the world of coupons and rebates. It is quite overwhelming, but I see so many paople saving so much money. If you think about all the things you could do with the extra money you save I feel the time will be worth it. I added it up and I am spending a ridiculous amount of money on household items such as toilet paper, paper towels, toothpaste etc. I have learned from a few members on LLNOE that they rarely ever even pay any money for products like that!!! Since my budget is so tight and I am quitting my part time job and having another baby I defiantely need to take advantage of these deals. There is a couponing thread on LLNOE. I also joined www.hotcouponworld.com an that site is just amazing!!! Everything you ever needed to know and then some!

Well, haven't updated in awhile. This is my last month at my part time job...yeah!!!! I will be babysitting full time and getting back to earning online. I need to make $200 a month online to make up the money i was making at my full time job. I will be doing this through good old fashioned GPTs and article writing. I just need to figure out a schedule. Naptime lasts about 2 hours here so I am going to be able to work those 2 hours and maybe 1-2 hours at nite. This should help me achieve my goal. This month I am just going to focus on cleaning out my house and getting things organized. The baby is due in May so I want to get as much prepared for him as possible.

I am only making monthly goals from now on. A big goal like "losing weight" is just too broad and unparticular for me. so, for January:

clean house room by room and declutter
eat 4-5 servings of fruit and veggies a day and take vitamins
walk 1 mile a day 5 days a week on treadmill
make a budget and use cash envelopes

Working on Referrals

I used to get so frustrated trying to find referrals for my GPT sites. Since I implemented the techniques I learned in a special report I found it has become much easier. I am not using any kind of link referral system or other kind of scheme. I am talking about getting quality referrals! I want people that are out looking for a way to earn money online. In the long run these people will earn you more money. I'd rather have 10 solid, active referrals than 100 non-active referrals. Now, its true that some GPT sites run referral contests and you can win quite a bit of money from them. For example Deal Barbie Pays has a referral contest running right now where the top 5 winners get a decent amount of cash. This one way to earn some easy, fast cash and you can use link referral systems that allow people to sign up as a referral under you and certain terms apply, like they have to complete so many offers. This way of refferal earnings can earn you immediate cash, but will do little for residual income in the future.YOu may get lucky and have a few continue to complete offers.

I am looking for long term residual income. Thats why I follow the techniques in this report I purchased. Most of my referrals are still active. Over time, their earnings will taper off as they themselves have gotten their own referrals and they will not be as active as they have others earning for them. This is why I feel it is important to work a few hours a week on trying to gain new referrals. It really easy once you get a few ideas of where to pick up referrals. I think it is a great way to earn some easy money. One GPT site, CASHCRATE gives out a $3 bonus once a new referral has completes 10 offers. If you can get just 5 people a week to do that you can earn $60 a month just in the bonus money. You will also earn 20% of their earnings from the offers they completed.

As you can see this is a pretty simple way to earn money with minimal time invested.

Busy, Busy, Busy

I have been really busy as I am sure everyone has as the holidays approach. I LOVE december!
Its crazy, but fun. I also find out this week if we are having a boy or girl! Can't wait.

Anyways, I made a little over $60 in November again thats just from referral income. I did not have time to complete any offers or do any surveys. I am going to try and recruit more referrals this month. thats about all I will have time for. I really like that I can earn money while putting no money upfront. It really is a great extra income for me. I do work a part time job right now, but after baby #3 gets here I will be back at home full time. I do babysit 2 kids and am looking into getting liscensed. I may try and pick up one more kid after the baby is here. I will be making a decent income from that while being at home with my kids.

Once I quit work and am settled in with the baby I am going to work a few hours a day online again. I am not into building websites and things like that. I also do not want to pay out any money at all online. I am going to be doing godd old GPT sites and writing articles for associated content. AC pays right into paypal now and I really love that. My main referral income is from Fairytale Treasures. I really love this site although they do not have the highest referaal percentages. they come up with new contests and programs all the time. I know there are like a million of these sites out there right now, but check out this one. They do trivia and all kinds of fun stuff!!!

My goal for December is......to enjoy the holidays and time with my family. Thats it!!! I worked hard all year long and I am going to relax this month. If I make $0 that is OK with me!!!!

Well, I made $60.05 in October which is just from referral income. I did not have time to write any articles or complete any offers. I had a bad month with my pregnancy and was put on bedrest and light duty. Couple that with my part time job and the 2 kids I am currently watching, I have NO time.
So, for November.....
I am going to leave my links at a few places everyday to try and get more GPT referrals. I did gain 15 new referrals this month from doing nothing. I had worked in August on getting referrals and from the places I left my link I gained 15 in October too. That really shows you how a link put out there today could possibly continue to get your referrals far on into the future if you put them in the right places. Right now, that is the best way for me to make money with the limited time that I do have. Other than that I may try and write a few articles here and there.

Doing Better

Thankfully, I am doing better. I have been put on light duty due to some pregnancy issues, so I will only be working my part time job a few hours a week. This means I can step up the interent work! I will be focusing on referrals and article writing. These are the easiest things for me to do and are not very time consuimg. I can do a little here and there. I am going to make a plan for November. I am so excited the holidays are coming up! I love the end of the year :-)

I am scouring the interent for great places to gain some active referrals. Whats so great about the referrals that I do have...80% of them are active. I am going for quality referrals not quantity. I do not want people to join unless they are really looking for a way to make money. So i try to find the best places to find people that are in need of extra income or any income and I tell them my story and lead them to this blog. I have found thos to be quite successful. It does take a bit more time and research, but it is worthwhile!!!

I decided that wht is most worth my little time that I have on there is getting referrals. So I am using the methods that Amy Bass taught me in her report on how to earn Massive Passive Income. Since I don't have a ton of time on the interent anymore I feel this is the best way to go. I will also complete offers and do contests on my 3 favortie GPT sites. I have been horribly sick to say the least so far with this pregnancy :-) My other two went great, this one...i have every symptom in the book. I started back at my part time job and I am watching 2 kids now, so I amnot finding time to work on the internet. I really wish I had the time to make this a full time income, but I don't. I need a steady paycheck right now. i figure I wll just do some GPTs and article writing here and there and try and make a few extra bucks a month in my free time. I will try and aim for $100 a month. How are you all doing???

Well, I've been exhausted and feeling sick for awhile and not wanting to do much work LOL. Just found out that baby #3 is on the way!!! I'll be due around April, I am getting an ultrasound in 2 weeks to confirm the dates. I'll have to rework the budget and start saving a little extra money as I have sold all my baby stuff claiming I was never going to have more than 2 kids :-)

Anyways, I am feeling a little better today and I need to step up the work as I will definatley need to make as much extra money as possible now!!!

I am still researching like crazy on how to get your lenses to rank higher and so forth. I will keep posting on how my lenses are doing. I want to make 15 lenses this month (1 every 2 days) and then write articles on them with my links. I am then going to submit the articles to 3 sites. After I have researched on how to make lenses rank better, I will work on some methods to get mine higher ranked so I get more traffic. We'll cc how mine do!!!

My goal is still to make $500 this month in online earnings. To do this I am going to:

*work on referrals for GPT programs
*earn income from Squidoo..I am going to make a lens one day and the next day I am going to use article marketing to get my link out there. I am going to spin the article and submit it to 3 article submission sites. this way I can earn money from Associated Content also. After the article is accepted by AC I will go back to the lens and put a link to the article on my lens so that I can also get more page views on AC and make bonus money.
* I need to earn $12 on FairyTale Treasures as soon as I can so that I can take advantage of their 25% referral earning program.

I really wanted to make $500 in August and I sure did not meet that goal. September is looking better because I no longer have my part time job. I will have much more time to focus on making money online for the month of September!!

Squidoo

I am still having troubles making a website and I do not have the money to buy any tools that can help me :-) So, I am going in a different direction. I have been researching Squidoo and I am going to give it a whirl. Squidoo is very easy to do. It is pretty easy to make a simple lens, and I am going to be working on making a bunch of in depth lenses. Squidoo also has a pretty cool referral bonus where you refer a friend to be a Squidoo lensmaster. When your friend's lens earns its first $15, you AND your friend will each get $5, free!

I am going to be using lenses to get referrals to the programs I already use and I will also be creating lenses on some niche topics I have ideas on so that I can earn money from the Adsense. Squidoo shares Adsense revenue and Squidoo also allows you to use affiliate programs relative to your topic to also earn money. That means you can use sites such as Clickbank and Amazon to earn money from. I have read that Google favors Squidoo so if you can find some niche topics, make a good content lens about it, and put in some affiliate marketing and links you can profit from SQUIDOO.

I will keep you updates on my progress as I am starting from ground zero here.

I would love to be able to creat a lens a day. Since I am currently not working becasue I quit my part time job, I will have more time to dedicate to making money online.

Both of these situations may impact the number of referrals you have each month. Each referred member will need to meet 'verificatiion requirements' such as valid profile information (which includes address and phone number). An active referral is one who has completed as least one offer in the past 30 days. All five of your referrals need not be active at the same time, that is, they will have 30 days to complete at least one offer in order to remain a 'qualifying' referral for the extra referral fees.

You may qualify for the 25% Referral Club at ANY time during any given month. Let's say you begin today and complete your $12 minimum three days from now ... at that point you will begin earning the 25% referral fees. Maybe, it takes you a week or two to complete the minimum amount of required offers -- that's okay ... once you complete the minimum you automatically begin earning the extra referral fees from that point forward for that calendar month.

Article writing research

I posted earlier that I was going to focus on how to write better articles for Associated Content since I had a few articles rejected.
The first thing I learned is to research the topic I wnat to write on AC so I can see if there is just tons of content on that subject. I type in a few keywords on my article idea and see what i come up with. This is the main reason my articles were rejected.
Secondly I need to pick very specific articles. I had one rejected for "being too broad" SO if I come up with an idea I need to narrow it down to a specific topic in that area.
Third, I am thinking that maybe my writing skills are not as good as they used to be (out of school 10 years can do that to ya!) So I found an awesome article that can help you write "killer" articles.

Its called Content Speed Writing. This article is really helping me work on the formation of my articles.

I am going to put these tips into play and see how it goes!!!

Frustration

I have had my past 3 articles rejected by AC. I am not very good at writing apparently LOL. They had a call for content on Hurricanes...I wrote a good article on hurricane preparedness only to be rejected because they had too much content on Hurricanes. I don't get it...Anywyas..i am going to spend a few days researching topics that they don't have a lot of contenet on and get some article ideas.

Also i ended up quitting my part time job. its a long story, but mainly I have been there 10 months and have had a fill in manager for my regular boss who is on maternity leave. This new manager (whom I have been there longer than) decided she didn't want to give me the schedule I was hired for and kept messing with my hours. With my husbands job, my babysitting, and my having 2 kids of my own I was unable to work the hours any longer.

So now I have extra time to work on the internet, but I will need to really focus and start finding more ways to make an income on here!!

Other than that I will be working on my website and my husbands blog. Hunting season is rapidly approaching so i need to get his deer blog going.
I put in my 2 weeks notice at my part time job. They would not stick to the schedule they promised me when I was hired and keep overscheduling me hours. I am unable to keep up with the hours anymore. Its a good thing part time jobs are a dime a dozen, right? There are 5 other gas stations near here I can apply at along with a few other jobs. I am going to try and get one more child to babysit and then I would be doing just fine.
If I can ever get the hang of making a website, and if I continue to get referrals, I may not have to go out and get any type of job so we'll see how it goes. i am having gret success on Yuwie, which is a new site like MySpace, but you get paid! I am getting some referrals from there and making some great new friends.

I also actually put some content on my facebook profile. I really love that site better than Myspace. I already reuinted with some ppl from high school that I haven't spoken to in over a decade! pretty neat.

Never have time

Well, the days just seem to roll by..I have so much I need and want to get done, but I can never seem to get my to do list done and so my Master To Do list is a mile long. I am really going to have to evaluate everything. I think I still want things to happen too fast, and I am setting really high goals. For August I think I am just going to work on referrals so I can get some income coming in. If I focus on that for a full month, I hope I can see lasting results. I am not going to be concerned about how much I am making. I just don't have the time to be on the internet like I want. I babysit 2 days a week and work 20-25 hrs at my part time job. Right there I am working 36-41 hours. I really can only get on the computer for 2-4 hrs total depending on how late I stay up at night. I am getting pretty frustrated because it is taking me so long to get my niche website up and running. I am having to learn as I go and its a slow process. I am determined to have that up and running by Sept 1st. I am currently looking for a cheap decent website builder because I need the help :-P

I usually have 80% of my offers clear in a day or so on this site and about 10% clear within the week. 3 column blogger template

I have had a few people ask me how I got this 3 column template on my blog. I went to Blogger Tips and Tricks. You pick out and download a template. You can Google Blogger 3 column templates and find many others.
Then I did the following:

1. go to your blogger and click on the template tab
2. click on edit HTML
3. make sure to click on download full template so that you save your blog exactly how it is and return to it if you don't like the new one
4. next, go to browse and find the file where you saved the new template
5.Click on upload and once it is done uploading you need to save it

***When going from a 2 column to a 3 column you will lose Widgets******

Also...after I uploaded mine I of course wanted to go right to templates and start redoing my widgets....well, I couldn't, it wouldn't save everything. I thought I had totally screwed up and lost everything. What I did was leave it alone for a few hours. Then I logged back in and everything was fine. Now, I know very little about Blogger and all the HTML stuff, so I have no idea what happened or if Blogger needs time to switch over to a 3 column. I am just saying this is what happened to me and it worked.

So, after the switch and the wait I had to go through and redo all my widgets. It was a pain, but I feel it was worth the time!!!!

Well, I just wanted to post and update. I am working hard on referrals and I am getting some here and there. unfortunatley that means my earnings are lower and I am going to have to work spuer hard to reach my $500 income goal this month. Fortuntely sone of my GPT sites are having bonus days this month so i hope to cathc up then. I am also needing to write more articles for Associated Content. I have been getting consistently paid for my articles on AC. I easily run out of ideas for articles, so I have to check out Google trends for some ideas. Tomorrow i am going to post on what steps I follow with my articles. I submit them to about 4 article submission sites right now, unless they pertain to my blog and I can use them to bring traffic here...then I submit them to about 10 different sites. I am going to go in depth into article writing tomorrow as I would like to explain it step by step for people that want to do, but don't know where to start.

I had joined myLot awhile ago, but had not been on in awhile. I am back on it now, and it is getting a little addictive. $17.00 a day

So, to make my goal seem more attainable and easier to accomplish I broke it down. Instead of $500 this month, I have to make about $17.00 a day. Sounds much better doesn't it? So to reach my $1,000 a month income goal I will need to make $34 a day. I am not sure why, but it sounds a bit easier looking at it this way:

1. I could complete 34 (50 cent) offers on a GPT site.
2. I could write 3 articles for Associated Content and do a few GPT offers
3. I could do some trial offers on a GPT site

Now just think, if I could be smart enough to figure out some good ways to get referrals I could make my $17 a day without having to do much. That would leave me time to work on making the other $17 a day to reach my $1000 goal!!

To earn some residual money I am also:
*putting Adsense, Auction Ads, and Bidvertiser ads on my sites.
*After AC processes my articles I submit them to sites that share Adsense revenue
*trying to get referrals for my GPT's and various affiliate sites

OK...so heres how I'm tracking my progress:
I started August 1st...my earnings for the first are actually what I'm writing as my earnings for August 2nd. Since it takes awhile for some GPT offers to go through and articles to process I am going to record my earnings for the day first thing in the morning from the day before. Kind of confusing, but I get it LOL. Also if I come up over or under the $17 for the day I am going to keep tally of a sepearte "pot" because I am sure there are days it will be less or more.

I wrote an article for AC yesterday and worked as hard as I could on Deal Barbie, although my dial-up was slow and I couldn't make as much as I wanted. Thankfully they are having a few other contests during the month. I am going to rotate doing offers on my 4 GPT sites that I currently use.

The rest of my time will be spent trying to figure out my website. It is really slow going since I have no clue what I am doing. Hostgator offers a template called Site Suite that I am using, and though it should be easy I still am having problems with it. I have most of my content pretty much figured out, I just need to place it on there and figure out how to link everything. If I had any start up money I would buy Dreamweaver, take a website class, or join an online program that teaches you how to build a website. I am not taking on any more expenses though. Aside from buying the domain and paying for hosting I am not able to put out any more money since it is all going to my debt. HOPEFULLY I can have it up and running by the emd of the week.

Today I signed up for Amazon Associates which is Amazon.coms affiliate program. At first I was a little weary about setting up an affiliate program....it sounded a little involved and I am a computer "dummy", but I did it anyways. It was soo easy! I put it on this blog, but really all this new stuff I am doing is practice for my websites. I signed up and right away and got to choose products to list on my site. It literally took about 15 miuntes to do. It will be great if I make any money off of this program!

Heres the snag.

For some reason every HTML editor I download will not work. I have no clue why. I am not really even sure how to use them, but since I can't download one I don't know what to do. Since my computer crash and my MAJOR problems with Vista I am sure its something very involved and I may never figure it out.

Thankfully when i joined Hostgator I googled Hostgator coupons and found an awesome sight that basically allowed me to get 3 months free web hosting. Theres a coupon code for $9.94 off and hosting is only $9.95 a month! Not only that, but if you fill out a rebate for you will get $20.06 sent to you after you use Hostgator for 60 days. So technically I am not wasting any money if I never figure out how to create a website!! I will see what I can figure out today.

Update: I found on Hostgator that you can sign up for a template so that you do not need any HTML code knowlwedge. It is supposed to be added to my account in 12-24 hours.
***The program is called Site Suite and is pretty easy to use. I have redone my front page about 5 times already :-P This template looks pretty easy to use, but I am a TOTAL beginner and know nothing about this stuff. My husband has written 4 articles for this site, so we really only need a bit more content and some photos to get in running! I am still having a few issues here and there, but I am hoping to give it a greenlight by next friday.

I am really loving Associated Content. This is a site that pays you to write. I had a week there where my articles were getting turned down mostly due to AC already having too many articles on that particular content. So, before I wirte I have a little system I use. If I am writing to promote a blog then I choose keyword I want to target and write on it. If these articles are turned down I will try and revise them or I will submit for no pay just to get them out there. Thankfully none of those types of articles have been turned down. If I am just writing for some extra cash and picking random topics I will go to Google trends and see whats popular. Or I may go and research a keyword that doesn't get too many hits, so that my article has a chance to be on page one of that keyword. Then I write, run through textalyser and if my keyword denisty is around 3% I'll submit it. This system ahs gotten me articles that are consistently making over $5.

Well, I'm going to give a niche site a whirl. I bought a domain name last night and I am really excited about it. I researched keywords and my husband and I will be working on it together as it is about whitetail deer. We are really passionate about the deer and my husband knows everything about them. I really think that it will profit for us. It will also help promote his taxidermy business and our little deer farm. We live in Southern Illinois and the deer business is highly profitable. I will keep you updated on our progress. My husband works full time and won't have a ton of time to devote to articles, so it may be slow going for awhile. I'll write what I can.

AHHH..computer crash

Well, my ONE month old HP crashed and I had to do a system recovery which means I lost EVERYTHING. I usually back up on the first of the month so that means I had nothing saved. All my articles...gone. All my favorites and websites I had organized...gone. Its going to take a few days to put everything back in place. I can copy my articles off of AC and respin them.

Hooray for HP. I will NEVER ever buy another one. I have had nothing but problems since the second I got this computer. Along with that pooh on Windows Vista. Major problems there too. I should have kept my old crappy slow computer. On top of that the Award winning Help center HP brags about so much......sucks. I was on the phone with them for 72 minutes and got transferred 10 times.....wanna know what I was trying to do? Cancel an internet order. If the Help desk cannot even cancel a simple order (BTW That NEVER got resolved and cancelled so I am stuck with a $13 disk I don't even need) what should I have expected from my computer, right? If I could I'd take this one back right now and put and anti HP sticker on my car.

So to conclude. I HATE HP and I need to spend hours getting all my stuff back in order today.

August Goals

My main goal in July was to create and put decent content on my blog, research blogging for money and article marketing, and to get my blog and articles out there so I could earn referrals on my GPT sites. Idid all the above, but only got 8 referrals, some of which are not active :-( I don't know why I cannot get them, but I tried. I will keep doing what I can to drive people to my blog. I have learned a lot about keywords and other things that I need to focus on in the future.

Anyways, heres what August will be like:
I began a blog for my husband about our whitetail deer raising and his hunting and taxidermy. I feel that we can find a great niche or two on those subjects and turn them into potential income. My husband is an expert on whitetails so I am going to work hard on getting his knowlegde out there. So my main project will be his blog and marketing it. We frequent Bass Pro shops and they have an affiliate program I am going to join. My husband was excited to get paid for his first article on Associated Content! I will be doing the article marketing method to get traffic to his blog after we get a lot more content on it.

Mainly, I will be working my tail off on my GPT sites as my income was low for July. That was due to vacation and me spending most of my time working on my blog. I plan to devote 2 hours a day to completing offers. Deal Barbie is having an excellent bonus day on August 1st. for every 10 offers completed you will get $3.50 put into your account. They just added over 160 email/zip submits that were crediting super fast for me. I did a few, but am saving the rest for August first. I think that I can make some great money that day. Besides the GPT sites I have an Associated Content plan.

For AC, what I am going to do is first off write one article a day on keywords for my blog. My husband will do the same. Then, what I have been doing is going to a site called Google Trends and looking at what keywords are the most popular right now. I then take 10 minutes to research that topic and write a quick article on it. I will then run through the textalyser program to make sure I have a keyword density of 3% or more. In my research I read that those two tricks will earn you better money per article. We will see if that holds true!!

I really would like to get to the point where I am earning residual income like my friend Amy Bass. Amy has been making excellent money online and only started a few months ago. She does excellent research and really knows her stuff. Check out her blog MyDebtFreeGoal. I am learning a lot from her and hope to profit one day like she does. I want to work up to $1,000 per month in online income.

Google Adsense Referrals

While messing around with my AdSense account I came across a neat feature I didn't know about. Its called AdSense referrals. In this section you are able to hand pick the ads you want to show on your site. While you search through the ads it will tell you how much you can earn from getting leads or sales through those particular ads. You can have 2 different ad units per page on your site. The referrals can also be run with Google's ad for content and Google search. I really like this feature. You are able to pick 15 different ads to run in one ad unit, and they will rotate them. In this feature you can also edit ad colors and borders to make your ad contrast or blend with your site. There is even a search tool to look for specific ads or products that you would like to place on your site. I think that this feature can up your earning potential through AdSense. AdSense will also track your ads through certain channels to see what is bringing you the most money. I highly recommend you check out Google AdSense and go to the Ad setup button and sign up for AdSense referrals.

Google Adsense is a service that lets you host paid per click ads on your website pertaining to your content. When people view an ad you get money...sounds pretty easy, right? It actually is easy. You can sign up directly throuhg Adsense .Its easy to set up and right here on blogger you have a button you can click on to sign up for Adsense. It will walk you through applying for Adsense (google must approve your site) and you can set up how you want the ads to look on your page, including choosing the colors. Once your site has been accepted relevant ads will automatically show up on your site. The downfall with this program is that in order to get clicks, you need lots of traffic coming to your blog. I wrote an article on 10 tips to get more traffic to your blog. The more work you do to get your blog out there and read by people, the more potential income you can get from Google Adsense. Adsense will pay you monthly through payapl once your account has reached $100. Once you have your blog set up and have a bit of decent content I recommend applying for this program.

In working on ways to write a better article I found out how important "keywords" are. I read a bunch of blogs and "tips and tricks to a better article" Keywords are important because that is how people find your article on the search engines. I also read into how to write better articles for higher payment on Associated Content. I found that AC likes a keyword density of 3%-4%. I was like, OK.....how do I ever figure out what the keyword density of my article is? The answer...TEXTALYSER....This free program allows you to paste and copy your text into a field and then it analyzes it for you. It analyzes keyword density and a whole slew of other things. I simply write my article and run it through textalyser to check on my use of keywords!

Setting up a blog

The first step in blogging is obviously seeting up a blog. Blogger is so simple an easy to use. You pick out a template and start posting! In the template tab you can easily rearrange your page and change layouts and colors. I found an excellent blog on blogger called BLOGGER TIPS AND TRICKS. This site offers some 3 column layouts for your blog. My next blogs are going to have a 3 column layout so that I can put more widgets on it. For some reason I could not switch this blog to a 3 column as I do not have a lot of knowledge on these things, so I am going to leave this one as is until I figure it out. Thats another great thing about blogger.....if I can use it anyone can!
There is a wealth of information out there about beginner blogging and posting. I just googled those phrases and did a ton of research. It is important to post at least once a day to keep your readers up to date on your blog. I chose money matters to blog on becaue that it what I am interested in and spend most of my time reading about these days. Just pick a topic that you know about or want to know about and start blogging. I learned a TON from Amy Bass, who has made over $2,700 this past month with her blog and article wrtiting. I realize now that I am trying to work on too many projects and ideas at once and I am not getting very far with any of them. I am wanting to do too much too soon. I pretty much have all my research done and I know what I want to accomplish. That was a LOT of work right there. I am going to make small weekly goals to concentrate on a certain areas. I have 2 kids, work part time at a gas station, and have 12 animals that I have to keep up with. Between all that and keeping up with the house and being on Weight Watchers, I am having trouble working it all in. I have found many, many ways to make income online, but there is a lot of set up and work involved. Because I was focusing on all the new things, my earnings are not very high this month (that and I was on vacation for a week)
So..for the remainder of July I will be working on my GPT sites and writing articles for Associated Content to make money. Begining the first of August I am going to have a daily and weekly schedule of everything I need to do so that I can budget time for everything. I plan to work on GPT sites a little everyday, along with writing 1-2 articles a day. I will also be getting my other blogs up and running. I also have some catching up to do with this blog and with articles I have already written. I am writing up some basic steps to follow for writing articles and what to do after they are written. I have a decent list of article submission sites ready and waiting. In my next post I will cover the beginning basics on article writing.

This week I am on vacation!! When i come back I will working on 3 new blog ideas that I have. I will be writing articles like mad for these sites and working on marketing them and submitting them to search engines and blog sites. I hope to get one up and running a day, and then I fgure a week to get them out there. I currently work about 3-4 hours per day online, so it takes me quite a while to get things accomplished. I am also going to need to work on my GPT sites for some easy cash. My earnings are pretty low right now since I have been focusing my time on my blogs and on research. I have spent quite a few hours in the past week studying up on blogging and how to get more traffic to your sight. There are so many resources out there its amazing! A few basics that I learned and that I am working on are:
1. Find a good topic in your niche and research keywords related to that topic to write on. Use those keywords in posts and articles.
2. Apply for Google Adsense after you have at least 5 posts.
3. Once your blog has some decent content submit it to the major search engines.
4. Visit other blogs in your niche and post comments on them.
5. Backlinks are VERY important and you should put in sufficent effort to place these out there.
6. It is a good idea to link to other blogs in your niche that get high traffic. This will make otheres link to you.
7. Make Squidoo lenses about your topics and traffic will flow to your site.
8. Write articles on your niche and submit to various sites, making sure to link back to your site.
9. Post in forums that allow your site URL in your signature.
10. RESEARCH RESSEARCH RESEARCH! The more you kow about your niche the more you will look like an expert and people will seek your knowledge!

I did pretty well for my first month. I made $599.36 in June working online and through sidejobs. My goal is to make $1,000 per month so that my Jan. 1st 2008 I will have saved for the deer pen and paid off our truck. I am going to have to work twice as hard this month. I am on month two in my quest to make money online. My main source of income is a Get Paid To site called Fairytale Treasures. I made $53.30 my first two weeks there and $190.54 my second two weeks. I probably spent an average of 1-2 hours a night on the site and I wasn't on every night as I have a part time job.

Fairytale Treasures is excellent for a few reasons. First of all the woman that runs the site is very nice and answers questions very quickly. Secondly the site is VERY easy to navigate. There is even a section dedicated to easy offers for newbies!!! They run trivia questions almost everyday with a Disney or fairytale theme and you earn magic lamps for correct answers. These magic lamps can be saved and used to buy referrals! There is a section for easy one field submits, where all you do is enter your email address or zip code. I have had no trouble with offers crediting and don't usually have too many in my pending folder. I really love everything about this site

Another excellent perk to Fairytale Treasures is that they run quite a few contests during the month where you can win money and referrals. I won $10 in the first two weeks with one contest and I won $10 and a referral in the second two weeks with another contest. Their referral system is 3 tier and you earn 12% from your level one referrals. I know there are other sites out there that are higher, but there are so many chances to win money and referrals on this site that I use it the most.

I tend to only complete the free offers, but have done a few free trials. So far I have had no problems canceling the free trials. Some of these pay quite a bit for a simple phone call to cancel at a later date. I keep a calendar on my desk of when I signed up, all my log in info, the number to call and cancel and the date and time I cancelled along with the persons name or employee number I spoke to at the business.

I would highly recommend this site to everyone. It is very easy money and is quite fun with the trivia and the contests

How to do the GPT’s
Brand new to "Get Paid To" programs?? I was too!!! These sites pay you to fill out surveys and complete offers with valid information. There is no money required up front and you do not need to do trial offers. I have researched my 2 favorite sites and have read all possible tips and tricks to making it easy for beginners. Here is my step by step giude of what to do before you sign up.

1. Go to http://www.privatephone.com/ and sign up for an internet phone number. This way you will got NO telemarketing phone calls on your home phone. Privatephone gives you a real phone number and its FREE!

2. You will need multiple email addresses because each offer from each company needs a different email address. I recommend http://www.gmail.com/ Gmail allows you to make a real long email address and put a "dot" anyhwere in it to make your email address unique, yet you do not have to keep signing up for new ones! For example, my email address is erinelizabethkeatingkurwicki@gmail.com So I can use e.rinelizabethkeatingkurwicki@gmail.com and so on. I make a new email address every few days. You can keep using ONE email address and keep moving the dot until the dot reaches the end of the email address....then make a new one.

3. Another important thing that needs to be done is to clear your cookies and temp interent files between each offer. You can manually do this by going to "tools" "internet options" and "delete cookies" and "delete temp interenet files" This will delete ALL your cookies though. What I did was download http://www.ccleaner.com/. This program allows you to pick which cookies to keep (for your email addresses and such) and it will delete all the junk ones.

So…you sign up by clicking on one of my banners……get yourself a gmail address, clear all your cookies and internet temp files, fill out an offer, go back to the GPT site page where you clicked on an offer and hit submit or put in your sign in name and hit submit. Then give it up to a week (most of my offers complete with in a few hours) and watch your self make money!!!!

A few tips:

*complete the offer until the page says "thanks for registering or congratulations"

*if you are having rouble having offers complete...once you get to the final page leave it open in your browser for 2-3 minutes

*on the email/zip submits...thats ALL you do...fill out your email or zip code and hit submit or whatever it says...leave the next page open for a minute or so. THATS ALL!

*unless you want to do a trial offer...NEVER put in any sort of credit card information. I never put in that or my social security number. Identity fraud is happening everywhere. Trial offers are usually used with a secure site. Some people do well with these offers, but I do not personally do the at all, so I can give no advice on these.

*check over site forums....many newbies have the same questions and issues.

It was hard in the beginning for me to get the hang of it, but now I can fly throuhg offers... the more you do the easier it becomes!!

DealBarbiePays is a great GPT site that has a lot of potential for earning money online. It has been around since April 21, 2006 and has paid out over $565,000. Deal Barbie offers a great referral program and also many exciting promotions, bonuses, and contests. Right now you can get a $5.00 welcoming bonus just for signing up!. The $5 will automatically be put into your account after you sign up. Who can beat free money upfront to start earning money online?
In order to complete offers on DealBarbiePays you must be 18 years of age and live in the United States. There is only one account per household or your accounts will be deleted. Deal Barbie also implements a phone verification process upon sign up. They of course have a Zero Tolerance Policy for fraud. Another neat thing about DealBarbie is their promotions and contests. Not only do they offer these monthly contests, they post the contests that will be run for the entire month. Most GPT sites do not post contests this far in advance. This allows you to be able to plan ahead and pick a contest that you can spend a good amount of time on to increase your earnings.
DealBarbie’s minimum cashout is $20. You must cashout before the last day of the month and you will be paid on the 5th of the following second month. So if you cashout June 30th, you will receive your payment around August 5th. Payments can be sent out to a verified paypal account, or as a check or various gift cards.
The fact that this site has been around since April of 2006 shows that it is established and has a good history. I think that this an excellent GPT site that is a great opportunity to earn money online.

They offer two referral ranks depending on the number of referrals you currently have. The first rank is Bronze and you will make 20% of your first level referrals and 10% of your second. After you have 50 referrals you move t the Silver rank which means you will make 25% of your first level referrals and 10% of your second. This offers you some great earning potential! The Cashcrate site is very easy to use and they have an excellent Help Forum. A third GPT site is called PayCage. This site offers many contests throughout the month. You can earn cash and "keys." This week I have been researching article writing and marketing. I will continue to make money on FTT and Cashcrate, but I am going to focus on articles for the next few weeks. This way I will make money from the articles themselves and will also be generating traffic to my blog so that I can earm money from Adsense and from referrals when people sign up through my links for FTT and Cashcrate. I think this will be an excellent way to earn money online. My cuurent goals are to:

The Debt Snowball

Do you want a fast, easy way to pay off your debts? A simple method to rid yourself of debt is by using a debt snowball. A debt snowball is an effective way to pay off your existing debt in a certain order. The debt snowball sets up your debts to be paid off from lowest to highest balance, regardless of interest rate, thus freeing up money quickly to add to the next debt. Your money builds over time as you pay off smaller debts and rolls into a “snowball.”

Paying off your debt can be frustration and overwhelming if you have more than one to pay off. Do you find yourself barely keeping up with minimum payments? Are you having trouble keeping track of what debt to pay and when? The debt snowball can assist you in organizing and paying off these debts very easily. The method is pretty simple to use. Start by listing your debts is order of lowest to highest balance. After your list is complete write down the required minimum payment after each debt and add up the total. Next, go through your budget and decide how much extra money you have available each month to add to your debt repayment. This extra money is called your “snowball.” You will use your snowball on your lowest balance debt first. If there is no extra money the easiest thing to do is sell something or have a yard sale until you get enough to pay off your first debt.

Here’s how the snowball actually works. Pay the minimum payments on all your debts, then take your extra “snowball” money and apply it toward your lowest balance. Continue to do this each month until your first balance is paid off. Then you take all the money you were paying on your lowest balance, including the minimum payment, and apply this towards your next lowest balance. This is your new “snowball.” Continue to do this until all your debts are paid.

Using the snowball in this manner allows to get a couple of smaller debts paid off, thus leaving you with a smaller amount of debts to keep track of. It also lets you have more money to throw at the next debt and out of this comes the “snowball effect.” This method is highly effective. Some people have used a variation of this method by listing their debts in order of highest to lowest interest rate. Either way can help you get out of debt.

Today I decided to research sites to put my blog on. I submitted it to quite a few places including Google, Yahoo and Technorati. I added an RSS feed to My Yahoo page. I read up on the importance of keywords and writing an atricle for each keyword on your blog and submitting the article various places with a link to your blog. Blogging and article marketing are lot of work!!! Since I am very new to this I am having to do a lot of research. As I get deeper into my research and learn more I will be writing articles on each new thing I learn. This will enable me to make more money through Associated Content with the articles and will also add content to my blog. I always submit my AC articles as non excluisive so that I am able to use them elsewhere. Hopefully this will double my earning potential!!

I am currently following Dave Ramsey's plan to get out of debt. I love the forum at http://www.llnoe.com/. The people on there are VERY helpful and can really work a budget. There are all kinds of tips on budgeting and saving money for each and every step in Dave Ramsey's plan. The steps are as follows:

pre step 1- get current on your bills and start a budget.

Step 1- get $1,000 in a baby emergency fund

Step 2-Pay off all non-mortgage debt

Step 3- Get 3 months of living expenses in your Efund

Step 4- Save for Retirement

Step 5- Save for College

Step 6- Pay off the house

Step 7- Build Wealth and give it away

Currently I have my baby efund and the only debt I have is our truck. I am starting with $4,015 in non mortgage debt. Right now my husband and I raise Whitetail deer and we are needing to expand our pen for the deer's safety. Dogs got up to our fence and caused our breeder buck to break his jaw and he had to be put down. We need to expand the pen so that our other deer have more room to run if spooked, which will lessen the chance of harm to themselves. I feel that putting the truck pay off on hold is necessary to ensure the safety of the animals. They are a big priority in our lives and I want to do what I can to make sure they are safe and healthy. Not all people would agree with our decision since we have debt, but that's what we are going to do. I took on a part time job about 8 months ago, and that coupled with my husbands income pays our basic bills and sinking funds. Currently I am working on babysitting and making money online form home to have money to snowball and pay off debt. This money is being diverted to the deer pen fund which I should have full by Aug 1st and then I will resume debt payoff. My car is going to need replaced next year so I want to pay off our current vehicle and save for the new one.

Fairy Tale Treasures is an excellent "Get Paid To"site that is pretty easy to navigate. Once you register go to the left hand side of the page to see a list of offers. Under "New offers" click on "one field email/zip code" entries. All you have to do for these offers is type in your email address (remember to use different ones as much as possible) or zip code, hit "submit or enter here" wait until the next page fully loads (says DONE on the bottom of the page) then close the window. Return to the Fairy Tale Treasures page and click on "submit this to signup" The offer will then go to your pendings earnings and eventually to completed and you will show a dollar amount in your account balance.
There are also a lot of offers under free offers....some are surveys, some are one entry submits, etc. Some of these actually complete instantly.

Fairy Tale Treasures also has a great section on How To Clear Your Cookies. They payout on the 1st and the 15th of the month through Paypal, check or Amazon gift certificate as long as you have a current balance of $10 or more.
They have a referral system and also do contests...one of which I won on my fourth day of being on the site!!!
